Die Verpackung der Mascara ist in der Tat sehr ungewöhnlich und praktisch, allerdings nichts, was eyeko sich exklusiv ausgedacht hat, denn schon Essence hat eine Mascara in einer mehr oder weniger gleichen Verpackung heraus gebracht - das ganze macht die Tube aber nicht weniger praktisch.
Denn durch die flexible Verpackung kommt man auch an den letzten Rest Produkt ran und schmeißt nicht die Hälfte weg (was bei einem Preis von ca. 19 € auch für mindestens ein weinendes Auge sorgen würde).
Auch, wenn man das auf dem Bild nicht so gut erkennen kann, da meine Wimpern ein bisschen Puder abbekommen haben, starte ich mit einer relativ guten Grundlänge und kann mit den meisten Mascaras in relativ gutes Ergebnis erzielen.
Meistens trage ich nur eine Schicht auf, da mir die Wimpern schnell zu klumpig werden.
Der Auftrag des Produkts ist vergleichsweise einfach, wobei ich sagen muss, dass ich zum Anfang den Fehler gemacht habe und das Bürstchen nach dem Entnehmen der Tube nicht noch einmal abgestrichen habe. Was zur Folge hatte, dass ich viel zu viel Produkt auf meinen Wimpern hatte und ich damit schlicht weg nicht arbeiten konnte.
Wenn man das allerdings weiß und berücksichtigt, lässt sich die Mascara super auftragen.
Die Bürste ist extrem klein und greift, wie vom Hersteller versprochen auch die kleinsten Härchen und tuscht sie in einem satten Schwarz.
Allerdings muss ich sagen, dass ich von der versprochenen 'Trennung' der Wimpern nicht sehr begeistert bin. Die Wimpern werden zwar schön verlängert, allerdings muss man aufpassen, dass sich keine sog. Fliegenbeine bilden.
Ebenfalls steht auf der Verpackung, dass die Mascara Wasserfest sein soll und das kann ich zu 100% bestätigen. Ich stand unter der Dusche und selbst beim reiben war die Mascara alleine mit Wasser nicht runter zu bekommen.
Problem für mich war hier, dass ich selbst mit meinem Abschmink-Öl Probleme hatte, die Mascara ordentlich zu entfernen.
Fazit:
Alles in allem ist es für mich eine gute Mascara, ob ich sie aber für einen Preis von ca. 19 € nachkaufen würde kann ich noch nicht sagen. Ich denke es gibt Mascaras aus der Drogerie die ähnliche oder gar besser Ergebnisse erzielen. Manko für mich ist auch die Schwierigkeit des entfernens. Dazu muss ich allerdings sagen, dass ich nie Wasserfeste Mascara trage und von daher gewohnt bin, dass ich meine Augen super schnell von jeglicher Farbe befreien kann.
Ich denke, dass diese Mascara besonders für Frauen mit eher kürzeren Wimpern, denen es schwer fällt Länge in ihre Wimpern zu bekommen, geeignet ist. Für alle anderen ist sie definitiv kein muss!

The tube design is very unique, but nothing eyeko exclusively came up with. Essence has already a similar mascara on the market, which not makes the design less user friendly.
The squeezy tube allows you to get every single drop of you mascara, without waisting any product.
especially if you think about the price of 19 € you will be happy to know, that you won't have to throw some of the product away.
I've comparatively long lashes and I'm getting good results from nearly any mascara I use.
But since there are differences between some of them I can definitely say, that this mascara belongs in the well working category. The brush is tiny and it grabs even the smallest hairs and colors them in a nice deep black. It also helps me to extend my lashes even more, but I have to say, that the mascara fails, when it comes to separate my lashes.
If you aren't carefully enough it will make your hairs stick together, and that's nothing I want to see in a mascara.
but if you know how to handle it, it will give you some good results, which are water-proof and non smudging (like eyeko said on the tube). Only down side is, that it is very hard to get rid of the mascara with my normal face wash. Even my Makeup-Remover-Oil had problems - and for me that is definitely to much work.
All in all i found my lashes really nice looking and i like the mascara. But I'm not sure if I would spend 19 € on it again. Because for me, there are many good alternatives in the drugstore, which are at least half the price.
But if you like spending money on a good, more high-end mascara, then you won't be disappointed.
